It has taken time for me to bust thru some fears and build up the courage to step into my karmic agreement and share my sacred work with the world. Along with sharing my offerings, I’m working with this space as my digital altar, of sorts. With the added intent of stoking self- confidence in my ability to catalyze inspiration and synthesize my learnings thru writing blog posts.

I am showing up. Shameless, embodied and true to who I am.

A brief introduction

Currently Nurturing: my growing belly (first baby due July 2020), daily meditation practice, more book reading, less instagram scrolling, EMF awareness, less Netflix, more conversations with my husband, creating for creation sake, abundance-pleasure mindset, writing every day, seasonal rhythms, the space between stories, the present moment, grief/release work, cyclic rhythms, deep trust in the great mystery.

Diving Deeper into Studying: Mycology, Astro-Herbalism, Ancestral Healing, Karmic Contracts

Passionate about: Regenerative Practices for body and planet, the role of ritual, grounded and responsible psychedelic healing, shadow integration, fostering Community, checking my white privilege and unraveling how I perpetuate both white supremacy and the capitalist system.

I present as white with ancestral roots in Scotland, England, Slovakia, and French Canada. My pronouns are she/her. I got married in Mammoth, CA on May 22, 2016 to my incredible husband, Adam. He’s the gifted filmmaker and editor behind my videos, the greatest inspiration in my life and he carries a serial interest in ancestral arts such as wood working and blade-smithing. I’m a proud dog Mom to a 12 year old Chihuahua beagle rescue, named Hester. I currently reside on occupied land of the Tongva and Chumash people, in a region now known as the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles, CA.

My Story

My divine initiation into Holistic Healing started after I sustained a neck injury in 2011.  This Health crisis {read:opportunity} led me down the rabbit hole of multi-dimensional healing which started with a deep dive into the mind-body connection. I found kundalini yoga and began studying modalities such as Reiki, EFT, and Family Constellations. I got serious about my diet and started implementing Nutritional Protocols that targeted Systemic Inflammation. Absorbed with a genuine curiosity for more guidance around nutrition I enrolled in the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in 2014. After spending so many years buffeted by one food fad after another I finally began to gain control of my eating habits and understand bio-individuality, the idea that each person has their own unique body constitution and needs individualized nutrient and lifestyle support. Along with my nutritional studies, I began researching complementary techniques and tools on how to best care for and heal your body using herbs and lifestyle choices. My natural progression led me to study the ancient system of Ayurveda. Navigating individual constitutions and understanding, on a personal level, how our bodies change seasonally empowered me to find meaning and alignment in my daily life. I found deep and meaningful acceptance of my body once I began embracing my inner rhythms while understanding the complex dance of hormones and our inner cycles.

Root cause Medicine and the body- mind connection has been at the center of my healing philosophy from the start. Along with what we put into (and onto) our bodies, I am passionate about what we hold in our bodies.

“The issues are in your tissues” has informed the way I believe chronic disease and sickness manifests in the body.

One of the most powerful tools you can cultivate as a human being is listening to your body, and increasing your awareness to tune in to your own nervous system. In early 2017, I completed Healer Training with Erin Telford as a Breath work Practioner. Breathwork is a powerful 2 part breathing technique created by David Elliot that helps unlock and release old stories, trauma and stuck energy in our body. In the Fall of 2017, it was this herb lovers homecoming, to begin learning Traditional Western Herbalism and Plant Spirit Healing from Marysia Miernwska with “The Gaia School of Healing, CA”.

I have deep gratitude for these immersive experiences, and I love sharing the wisdom I have learned along the way. Of course, I am always looking for more depth and new ways to grow: through trainings, education, plant medicine ceremony, and living in reciprocity with our Earth. I believe our lived experiences are our most valuable training for helping guide others to healing.
